Gettysburg Battlefield. Historians believed that the Civil War took place at this field where an estimate of fifty thousand soldiers encountered their untimely and brutal death. Many believed that the spirits of those soldiers remain to inhabit the battlefield. According to paranormal experts, the poor souls are still fighting each other as what happened in history. The dead bodies from the Civil War were buried in a nearby cave famously known today as Devil’s Den.
Shades of Death Road. For a chilling road trip, make sure you pass by this road which is about seven miles in the country side of New Jersey. Plenty of visitors claimed that this particular road is haunted by white and black souls. There’s a theory that a murdered highwaymen use to kill motorists on the roads especially those who are brave enough to cross it alone during the darkest nights.
The Island of Dolls, Mexico. What would be your first reaction when you see numerous doll heads hanging from the shrubs and roots of the trees? Shrunken heads might be more acceptable, but dolls? That’s just a creepy thing. According to folklore, a little girl died in this very island and her dead body was in the nearby canal. Since then, doll heads grow naturally from the trees and even you cut down that tree, a new tree will form with the same doll heads. It was believed that the soul of this poor girl is the one doing all these paranormal stuff.
Helltown. From the name itself, I surely don’t want to build a family or even go near that town. Helltown is located in Ohio. In the 70’s, the town was a prominent site of procurement where houses were torn down. And at present, it was believed that the people’s souls whose houses were torn decades ago still wander in the town. In fact, this place is not for the faint hearted. Even paranormal experts are hesitant to stay and explore this area. Many people have already lost their lives during their stay at Helltown.
Myrtles Plantation. According to rumors, the Myrtles Plantation was built over a burial ground which is the very reason of the supernatural existence in this place. There are also witnesses who claimed that they have seen a long-haired woman wandering into the dark streets at night time. Some even have seen that very same woman’s body hanged in high trees.
